thedesigndivision: Boneless Chair: Sheet metal variants So we’ve been doing some research into manufacturing some sheet metal furniture offshore, which will give us an opportunity to have cheaper products to offer people who don’t necessarily want a hand crafted piece such as we normally do. To help avoid any costly mistakes though, we’ve been running simulations and force assessments on the chair, and tweaking the design once we have identified trouble areas. Science!
